Sir Nose-a-Lot

Are you one of those individuals who feels compelled to stick his nose into everyone else’s business? Why do you think they call it “other people’s business”? Because that’s exactly what it is!

A nosy person is one who is not happy with his own life, so he feels better talking about someone else’s. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor; everyone seems to be guilty in one way or another. Comedian Drake Sather once said, “My girlfriend thinks I’m nosy, at least that’s what she wrote in her diary.”

One of the most popular topics people love to discuss is who’s sleeping with whom? Often the people who are not sexually satisfied are the ones who need to know the details about others who are. Don’t think for a second that the people who are having great sex are losing sleep over those who are not.

Another hot topic for nosy people is how much money a person has, or how much they make. Once again, some things are better left unsaid. I’ve worked with people who considered themselves good friends, but when one found out the other was making more money, not even the Pope could bring those two back together.

If people worried about themselves a little more and made an effort to improve upon their own faults, then a lot of shrinks would be out of work. Keep your nose in your own business, and you’ll be a more productive person.
